Although AppCraft was created in 2016, its events business really took off in 2018.
Gregory Potdevin and I came from a background in databases and data management, and we noticed that IT solutions for B2B events were very fragmented, with data scattered across multiple locations. As a result, the participant experience could be disjointed, which detracted from the quality of the meetings and exchanges.
Thanks to requests from our customers (and this is still the case today with daily developments), we designed an "all-in-one" platform with a catalog of 150 modules to manage the pre-, during, and post-event phases.
Since events can be stressful, we designed intuitive, easy-to-use interfaces so that anyone can enjoy organizing their event with the help of a computer tool.
Since people are at the heart of events, we also put together a team of project managers who can constantly communicate with our customers, support them, and advise them.
AppCraft is also an entrepreneurial project that is deeply committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR), as we were the first French Event Tech company to be ISO 20121 certified in 2021. We will also be double certified in 2023 on cybersecurity issues with ISO 27001.
Entrepreneurial too, because in 2022, two new partners, Stéphanie Staderoli and Grégoire Forges, joined Grégory and Laurent Bel.
In 2023, AppCraft added a module to its catalog to measure the carbon footprint of participants' travel, which is the largest source of CO2 consumption.
Because standardizing an event is tantamount to killing it, we go to great lengths to offer customization options so that our clients' events are unique. That's why AppCraft is not very visible, as we mainly operate as a white label. On the other hand, we automate all time-consuming tasks as much as possible, because time is of the essence when organizing an event.
And thanks to this, our clients, regardless of their industry, have peace of mind and can fully enjoy their guests!
