The carbon impact of your event is automatically calculated and summarized free of charge in a dashboard in your AppCraft solution based on the following data:
• Transportation:
◦ The distance and mode of transportation used by your participants (calculated from the registration form using pre-set fields—if this information is not included in the form and filled in by participants, the administrator will have to enter it manually).
• Digital:
◦ The number of hours spent watching live streams/replays
◦ The number of emails sent
◦ The number of pages viewed
• Accommodation
◦ Number of nights and type of hotels chosen
• Catering
◦ Number of meals and type of meals chosen (meat, vegan, etc.)
> Option to add other expenses for an overall calculation for the event.
Dashboard:
• Visualization of emissions for each of the categories listed above.
• Amount of emissions per type of transport, taking into account the number of participants using each type.
• Easier data collection
• Measure and summarize the carbon impact of the event
• Make the right choices to reduce the carbon impact from one event to the next
• Raise awareness among participants about their transportation choices and encourage soft or collective mobility
