> QR codes can be scanned offline (a 4G or Wi-Fi connection is still required for updates with the server and to synchronize the various scanning operations if there are several devices).

> A smartphone or tablet is required for scanning (AppCraft can rent these to you).
New security feature: the PIN for the check-in app now consists of at least 12 characters, including at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.
